Privacy
What the AI stores, what it does not, and who processes what on its behalf. Effective 19 October 2026.
What this covers
This page covers metatronmind.com, the AI surface. The shop and STACK publish their own policies; they are separate hosts with separate cookies and separate data.
Who we are
Metatron Mind is the trading name of Clifton Morris, an individual, of PO Box 73, New Plymouth, Idaho 83655, United States. Clifton Morris is the data controller for this service. Contact: [email protected] with “privacy” in the subject.
What is stored
- If you create an account: your email address and a password hash (salted; the password itself is never stored and cannot be recovered), an optional display name, and account settings such as whether memory is enabled.
- If you use the engine: the questions you send and the answers you receive, so the conversation can be shown back to you. If memory is enabled, the notes the engine keeps for you.
- If you connect X: the API key state (a hint and whether one is set; the key itself is stored encrypted) and the posts you explicitly ask the engine to read.
- If you set a natal record for the Lens: the birth date, time, timezone and place you enter, encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and readable only by your own session.
- Guests: an opaque guest id cookie and a turn count, used only to apply the guest-rate limit. Clearing cookies starts a fresh guest.
- Technical logs: IP address, user agent, requested address and time, for security and operations.
Cookies
Two first-party cookies, both host-scoped to metatronmind.com: metatron_session when you sign in, and
metatron_guest for the guest turn count. No advertising or analytics cookies are set.
Who processes data
Cloudflare (edge and tunnel), Modal (image generation when you use it), and X (only if you connect an account). No advertising network, no analytics provider, no data broker.
What we do not do
- No analytics, advertising pixels, fingerprinting or session recording on this site.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not hand it to a marketing list.
- Memory is opt-in per account; it can be switched off, and notes can be deleted from your account.
Retention and deletion
Account data is kept while the account exists. Q&A history and memory notes are kept until you delete them or delete the account. Technical logs have a short retention for security and operations. Write to [email protected] with “privacy” in the subject to request a copy, correction or deletion. We may keep records the law requires us to keep.
Your rights
Nothing here limits your statutory rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes and a material change is noted here.
